One, how can we roll back, and/or take a new vote on Proposition C, which was one of those hoodwinked initiative petition votes. https://ballotpedia.org/Missouri_Clean_Energy,_Proposition_C_(2008) That 15% standard is part of what is straining the grid and raising rates. This whole rate plan came from the Missouri Public Service Commission. I suspect it is an effort to load balance by pushing more more electric use into times like the middle of the night for things like charging electric cars. The Biden admin is pushing electric cars, but NO ONE is pushing adding more coal fired plants to power these 'green' cars.

Timing plays a crucial role in the cost of energy. As energy demand rises, the cost of generating electricity also increases, especially during the peak hours.
That’s why the Missouri Public Service Commission has ordered utility companies, including Evergy, to transition to time-based plans this fall. These four new plans reward you with lower rates when you shift your usage away from peak hours.
Which new plan is right for you? Our new Rate Comparison Tool can show you how much you’ll pay on each plan based on your current usage.
Two, why would our governor nominate a D for the MO PSC?? The commissioner is a Democrat
Chairman Rupp, supposedly an R, appointed Chair by Parson: Chairman Rupp earned his Master of Science degree in Energy and Sustainability through the University of Denver, his MBA from Lindenwood University and his bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri. Prior to her appointment, Commissioner Hahn was on the Governor’s senior staff team as Policy Director and had served as Senior Advisor and Policy Director for Governor Parson since August 2018.
So, how do we address these unelected bureaucrats affecting our electric bills????
