Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, my Friends!!

I’ve taken a bit of time off from posting since Thanksgiving, and I’m feeling happy and rejuvenated! Sometimes writing about the evil lurking in and hopping on our world takes a toll on my brain. And attitude. True that.

Anyway, inside myself, I’ve felt a lightening and happiness coming into my brain as we got closer to December. That’s not really my norm. Usually, as the year draws to an end, I get busy, busy, busy with this that and the other Christmas sort of preparation, but my attitude is more dutiful: Get ‘er DONE! Keep pushing ‘til it’s DONE! Tree UP! Cookies BAKED! Fudge MADE! House CLEANED! Cards MAILED! Presents BOUGHT, WRAPPED & DELIVERED! You know the feeling, right?

Anyway, this year I just feel HAPPY. PEACEFUL. Kind of JOYOUS. Go figure.

I was pondering in myself as to what is different, and I came upon a few things.

The past 2-3 years have been stressful. Crazy and evil things happening around us, and threatening to enslave us. Fear mongering: Be afraid! Be VERY AFRAID!!! It has pushed me into spending more time with God than I have for a while. And God is changing me! Yippeeeeee!!!!

This year December means the celebration of when Christ came into our world as a HUMAN! Ponder that for a moment!!! God - ALMIGHTY - Who created heaven, earth, the solar system, every blade of grass, every drop of water, the very human body we inhabit with ALL its IMMENSE MIRACLES, THAT God. He slipped down to earth and inhabited a body just like ours (WHAAAAAAT?!?!??!) and walked around among mankind. He LITERALLY SHOWED us how to Live. (WHAAAAATTTT?!??!!) GOD, lived among us and SHOWED us how to live.

Numero Uno: He spent time with His Father. A lot of time. He and the Father literally are One. Know what? God gives that EXACT SAME PROMISE to US! (WHAAAAAT!?!?!? Sorry for all the exclamations, but it’s a little mind-blowing!)

Colossians 1:27 - To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles (most of us) the glorious riches of this mystery, which is: Christ in you - the Hope of Glory.

WHAAAAAAT?!?!?! (Sorry…) Christ. In. ME. The Holy Spirit, God’s Spirit, in who? ME!?!?!? How on EARTH can that be??????? HOW? ON? EARTH????? The Glory doesn’t start in Heaven; it started the minute I said, “Yes, Jesus. Please save me.”

Do NOT EVEN ASK me how God thought this up. I guess that’s why the scripture calls it a “mystery.” No kidding!

Okay, so here am I…we…us humans trotting along through life, working day after day, hoping we’re fulfilling our purpose in life, and SUDDENLY along comes God. (The One described above: ALMIGHTY, Who made the heavens, oceans, etc.) and speaks to who? ME! US! And says, “Would you like to be my child so I can overwhelmingly Love you and take care of you with my Right hand holding you securely, and then spend the rest of Forever that lasts even AFTER this earth….with Me?”

There is only ONE rational answer to that question. YES!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! 📢 🔊

And, Voila!!! In one simple “Yes”, God suddenly sees me not as a mere human, but RADIANT!!! Sins all covered and healed with Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Now able to literally spend time with the King of kings and Lord of lords at ANY time of the day or night, in ANY place!!! Are you freaking kidding me!?!?!?!

There’s NO WAY I deserve this!!! I’m not really a dirt-bag, but there’s nothing special about me, either! The ONLY special thing about me is…I said, “yes.” Yes, God, I want to spend the rest of my life on earth getting to know You better. Reading Your Word, so I can hear your Voice. Communing with You; letting Your Golden Love-Light glow on me. Letting the Holy Spirit have more and more and more and more and MORE control over me, so in the end…in the end, Precious Jesus, I look like You.

Well, I think the horror of what’s happening in this world has brought me astounding happiness, because I’m spending more time with God. And December brings me to the close of a full year of spending more time with God and letting God change me. That’s where my happiness and peace are coming from. I’m gonna celebrate this WHOLE MONTH like YEAH!!!!!!

How hysterical is this??!?? satan sent evil to destroy us, make us hate God. But it’s bringing me, and I think a LOT of people closer to God. YEAHHHHH BABYYYYYY!!!!!
