We the People of Johnson County Missouri Friday, 12/9/2023 ✨ VIDEO: What is VETTING, and WHY IT HELPS US.
Hi Folks!!
This is a FANTASTIC VIDEO!!! (LINK)
Remember Mark McClosky? He’s the lawyer in St. Louis who stood on his front porch with his wife, they both had guns, and held off antifa and blm rioters who broke down the gates of their community to destroy it. The rioters came TWICE. Before their second riot they called McClosky telling him they were going to come again, kill him, rape his wife and burn down his house.
Sounds like terrorist activity to me, but I’m only a retired nurse, so there you have it.
Anyway, McClosky is being interviewed by Brannon Howse on WorldViewTube.com on what…???? VETTING!!!!!
Yep! Using VETTING to ensure those who run on the Republican banner TRULY ARE REPUBLICANS. Novel thought, eh?
At our last JCRCC (Johnson County Republican Central Committee…can you see why we abbreviate it…?) meeting Tuesday, Nov. 2, VETTING was brought up. Several committee members as well as public attendees wanted to discuss the topic for use in Johnson County. It was QUICKLY tabled.
WHY??
Some members of the JCRCC felt VETTING could lead to legal issues. We were told Rob Russell was concerned about legal issues of VETTING, and since he was not at the meeting that night, the discussion was tabled until the next meeting which is:
January 16, 2024
5:30pm (COME EARLY AS THE DOORS ARE LOCKED AT 5:30PM)
Justice Center - 101 W Market, Warrensburg (across the street to the NORTH of the Courthouse)
Here’s the reality of VETTING which is discussed clearly in the link above. And also HERE. (Click now, and you won’t need to read all the rest of this!)
The goal of VETTING is to OBJECTIVELY find out if a person’s value system aligns with the Republican Platform.
VETTING would be done the same way for each candidate - no SUBJECTIVITY, no FAVORITISM.
If the OBJECTIVE questionnaire shows the potential Republican candidate’s thinking actually aligns with the Republican Platform, he or she is allowed to run on the Republican ballot.
If the OBJECTIVE questionnaire shows the potential candidate’s thinking does not align with the Republican Platform he or she may run as a Democrat, a Liberal, or on any banner they desire other than Republican.
Any and all candidates who OBJECTIVELY align with the Republican platform can run on the Republican banner.
THIS IS A WAY FOR REPUBLICANS TO KNOW THEY ARE VOTING FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL UPHOLD THEIR OWN REPUBLICAN VALUES.
Missouri has a Republican Super-Majority in Jefferson City for both Representatives and Senators. YET, in terms of Legislation Missouri is now a purple state.
HOW COULD THAT HAPPEN????
In Missouri many people are aware if they run on the Democrat banner they will lose, as the majority of Missourians vote Republican. So, a significant number of Democrats have run as Republicans, won their election, got to Jefferson City, and voted repeatedly with…WHO? NOT the Republicans. They vote with the liberal Democrats.
And Missouri becomes purple on its way to LIBERAL, which these days means Marxist. Sadly, the Democrat party has been overrun by Socio-Communists.
If someone runs on the Republican banner, Republicans want to feel certain that person will vote according to the Republican Platform.
So, back to the question of “legality” of VETTING candidates. The US Supreme Court has decided TWO different cases in FAVOR OF VETTING. That means Precedent has been set.
Justice Scalia (D-CA) in 2000, made the decision that VETTING is LEGAL and is protected by the First Amendment.
Justice Kennedy made the decision that to do otherwise than VET candidates forced those aligned with a political party to vote for someone they may not want, which over time could change a party’s doctrinal positioning on major issues.
And that’s how a RED state turns blue…while having a Republican Super-Majority.
I hope this brings some better understanding of what VETTING is, what it does and does NOT do, the fact that the US Supreme Court has judged it as not only legal but required to ensure a party’s platform remains stable and the fact that without VETTING our Republican Super-Majority is meaningless.
In addition, TWO of our 3 Republican candidates for Governor of Missouri, Senator Bill Eigel and current Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft have ASKED TO BE VETTED.
Also, Senator Rick Brattin (running for Senate), Senator Denny Hoskins (running for Secretary of State) and Matt Sergent (running for Representative of our district) have REQUESTED TO BE VETTED.
These candidates want their PEOPLE to KNOW where their VALUES & BELIEFS align.
I LIKE that! Enquiring minds want to know!
SHARE THIS WITH EVERYBODY YOU CAN.
PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW MISSOURI IS PUSHING FOR VETTING, AND WE NEED TO KNOW HOW IT HELPS US.
Also, put the JCRCC meeting on your calendar and make plans to attend!
Sorry I will need to miss the 18th meeting, I have double booked that night accidentally. Too much Christmas dates to keep track of.
