I can’t wait to hear this presentation! Our speaker, Anthony Gasaway, served as a US Marshal. Yes, like Matt Dillon, but I don’t think he rode a Buckskin! He will be telling us the history of the US Marshals System up to our current time.

Mr. Gasaway has served as an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Central Missouri since July of 2014. Prior to that appointment, he was employed in various capacities with the U.S. Marshals Service, Department of Justice for approximately 31 years. His final agency assignment was as the Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Missouri.

He received a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri in 2008 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from Indiana State University in 1983. 

I heard Tony give a presentation for the Young Republicans on the UCM Campus last fall, and he’s an inspiring speaker. His mastery of the topic of the US Marshals Service is powerful, and his presentations are heartfelt. Tony is a man who puts his love for life and respect for our country into everything he does.

When I heard him speak it was obvious how much he cares for his students and works to ENCOURAGE them!
