More information on WEF today. One of our folks (Soldiers…?) posted this information in the Comments. It’s excellent info. I wanted to post it so we can all be in-the-know. After all, we are called to “Know our Enemies.” Jesus said, “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” (Matthew 10:16 ESV).

One of the points made in the link is that twenty-five (25) people from the USA attended the WEF meeting in Davos, Switzerland. All were government officials of some sort or high-ranking members of companies. Like Pfizer. Government officials came from BOTH sides of the aisle. The USA had more participants than any other country.

Other heavily represented countries included the UK, United Arab Emirates and Ukraine. There were more than thirty-five (35) international agency representatives attending. They represented arenas of: energy, climate control, health & disease management, OPEC, AIDS/HIV, Head of Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) and Impact Fund Investing from the UN, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)…and many more. When you read that list, do you get a strong feel for where this is going? I do. 🤮

After I heard the Global Shapers Community (GSC) had a branch in Cape Girardeau, MO, I had kind of a fitful night. I woke up this morning somewhat fearful and furious that we had been infiltrated without knowing it! AND I didn’t know WHAT to do about it!!! 😳 So, I sat down and spent some time with God.

I told God I was MAD, MAD, MAD!!! I ranted a bit about what are we going to DO?!?! I fumed about the fact that our country has been riddled with enemies of the state that aren’t like the “armies of old”, such that we knew who to get rid of and were all in agreement they had to go. NO! Now the enemy dresses like us, starts businesses, but underhandedly performs treason against our Constitution, our freedoms, and our children. The freedoms we all hold dear protect the enemy as well, because our leaders haven’t recognized them as enemies!! Because, in fact, our leaders also are part of the enemy army!!! GROWWWWLLL!!!!

God: Be still.

Me: And they’re growing bigger and stronger EVERY DAY!!!

God: Be still.

Me: …and now they’re encamped 4 hours FROM MY HOUSE!!!! WHAT CAN I DO??!?!?

God: Be STILL. And KNOW that I AM GOD. You are not.

Me: Um, right. But…

God: “Buts” only prolong the process before I can work.

Me: Right. I know that. But God I am SO helpless and weak when it comes to things like this! I have no power at all! I can’t stop the enemy and I’m SCARED!!!

God: Grow STRONG in the Light of My Presence. Your weakness does not repel Me. On the contrary, it attracts My Power, which is always available to flow into a yielded heart. Don’t condemn yourself for your constant need of help. Instead, come to Me with your gaping neediness; let the Light of My LOVE fill you.

Me: Oh. *Crickets*

God: A yielded heart does not whine or rebel when the going gets rough. It musters the courage to thank Me even during hard times. Yielding yourself to My will is ultimately an act of trust. In quietness and trust is your strength.

Me: *My heart melts. I’m finally quiet. God’s Golden Light shines in me, on me around me, and through me. Peace pushes the fear out of my brain as it infiltrates my heart and being. God is my King. My Lord of lords. My Savior. My Father God, forever. He holds me in His righteous Right Hand.*

My little devotion book refers me to Isaiah 30:15. I look at the heading over Isaiah Chapter 30, and it says, “Woe to the Obstinate Nation.” Hm.

Verse 15 starts with: This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength. But you would have none of it.” (Um…ruh roh.)

Me: God, please forgive me for holding on to my fear and anger. Please take it off me and bury it at the foot of Your cross…so deep it can never be found. Please incinerate it! Then hold me in Your quietness. Help me TRUST YOU, and know You ARE in control. I am here to BE with You and WAIT for instructions while I TRUST You.

The following verses go on to describe how instead of quietness and trusting God the nations (Israel) got on fast horses and ran away quicko-fasto! The enemy gained on them, so they ran faster! The enemy kept gaining, closer and closer…

Until verse 18 which says, “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of JUSTICE. BLESSED are all who wait for Him!”

Well. In trusting God is my answer. In waiting with Him, in His presence is my answer. “Be still and KNOW that I AM GOD.”

Keep praying, my friends. Have faith in God, He’s on His Throne. Have faith in God, He watches o’er His own. He cannot fail; He must prevail. Have faith in God. Have FAITH in God!!

Love you! Keep praying. If God puts an activity/action on your heart - Do it! If not, be still, keep praying, trusting, and KNOWING God. He’s in charge.
