Hi folks!
I'll post this on fb as well as substack today, as this is probably our last day on fb.
We have a terrific line up of presentations for our upcoming We the People of Johnson Co MO, July 18, 7:00pm, Johnson Co Fairgrounds!!
We start out with Rick Gerkin and Wilson Surber who are both members of NRA and Conceal & Carry certified. They'll tell us the gun laws of MO, how to get certified, and answer ALL your questions for self-protection!!
Our second speaker is Heidi Olson, RN, MSN, CPN, SANE-P who is a forensic nurse. She works with healthcare organizations, schools and groups interested in learning about identifying and helping children being sex trafficked. Obviously, sex trafficking is a sad topic, so Heidi will help us know how to make a difference for these people! That's the GOOD part!
As always, bring:
- yourself
- your friends, ESPECIALLY TEACHERS, NURSES AND ANYONE WHO MIGHT NEED TO IDENTIFY THE SIGNS OF A SEX TRAFFICKED CHILD
- some dollars for the Bucks Bowl
- a chair cushion as needed
- pen & paper if you want to take notes
